​Callan Pecoraro is a Licensed Professional Counselor who holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. She has previously provided therapeutic services in day treatment, residential, and outpatient settings, and served in a leadership position during her years as a crisis counselor. Her experience has afforded her the opportunity to serve a very diverse population and gain experience with a broad spectrum of mental health presentations, which she feels has highlighted the importance of meeting a client where they are and individualizing their care. As such, she believes both a client-centered and trauma-informed approach are imperative to building a positive working partnership and providing a healthy foundation for personal growth and change. She finds building on clients’ strengths and interests is the most effective route to addressing any mental health concern and can be used as a catalyst to improve coping strategies and self-esteem.
