Neil Nicholson LCSW, BCD is a licensed clinical social worker and a board certified diplomate in clinical social work.  He graduated from Portland State University with his MSW in 2011 and was educated in both clinical practice and community based social work. He has worked with system impacted youth as well as a veteran population.  As a behavioral health consultant he helped create community access to behavioral health services in primary care. He is a clinical supervisor for both social workers and counselors. He is passionate about family or origin work and curious about how the stories we tell create limitations as well as opportunities for change. He is trained in internal family systems, mindfulness based stress reduction, acceptance and
commitment therapy, cognitive processing, and many other evidence based practices. He believes in a trauma informed, culturally relevant, client centered approach to mental healthcare.
