Shannon Modjeski, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Shannon Modjeski is a Licensed Professional Counselor who holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Northern Arizona University, and a Graduate Certificate in Infant and Toddler Mental Health from Portland State University.
Shannon moved to Oregon in 2016 and has been practicing therapy in a variety of mental health settings working with toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults in both Arizona and Oregon for over 10 years. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and has received intensive training in Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, which is the primary evidence-based treatment she has been providing for the past 2 years. Shannon strongly believes there is always hope for a better and brighter future. Regardless of trauma, upbringing, or physical limitations, individuals are resilient beings with the capacity to rise above and persevere. Shannon’s approach is eclectic and empowering to fit the various personalities and needs of her clients. She is trauma-informed, holistic, and client-centered with strengths in mindfulness, experiential, and cognitive behavioral modalities.
