Barbara Hubbard

Professional Counselor Associate

Barbara Hubbard is a Professional Counselor Associate and a Master's level clinician who graduated from Oregon State University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor on track to be licensed in the state of Oregon. Barbara received intensive training in human development, crisis and grief counseling, appraisal, career counseling, psychopharmacology, addiction, and cross-cultural counseling.

Barbara employs Integrative Counseling rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy and her focus is on the hear and now and on creating a better future based on a holistic approach to mental health, mindfulness, a healthy self-esteem, solid boundaries, and thriving relationships. When a look into the past is warranted to help clients heal from trauma, Barbara employs Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). She works with adults on a range of mental health concerns and has a special interest in depressive disorders, bipolar and related disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma recovery. Her goal is to facilitate the healing of your emotional wounds, guide you toward developing healthier coping mechanisms, and support you on your journey to a happier, more grounded, and fulfilled you.
